Updated: What's in my handbag?

Oh hey guys!

So it's been a while since I have done a What's in my handbag post and since I picked up this bargain bag from Topshop on Thursday I thought I would put this together in case you wanted to run out and see if there were still some available.
Also heads up and sorry for this generic bloggers post I just love doing these and looking at other peoples bags too!

So originally £42 this gorgeous black and tan bag became a steal at £15 at although it appears to be small it actually holds a lot of my crap in it, which makes it super handy for myself (I mean we all have some kind of crap in handbags right? I'm not the only one?) There is as standard a tiny pocket that to be fair could not carry anything but earphones or even a key but nothing else. As always a super handy front pocket where I tend to slot my phone and my oyster card.

This is a picture of the realistic side of my blogging, PJ's and stacks of criminology books scattered around my room! It just shows its not all sleek photos and beautiful lighting!

So lets kick off!

Purse: In bags such as this I tend to cut down from my much larger purse (that you would have seen in my previous handbag post) to a slim pocket sized purse that I got from New Look. Super handy with the 2 card slots and it fits in all bags including clutches.

Passport:  Next up is probably the most embarrassing thing I have to carry, that being... my passport. Yes I know I should get a provisional as a form of ID but I am not learning to drive for at least another year so I don't really see the point.

Deodorant and change: Next up Nivea Pearl Beauty mini deodorant for those moments you want to freshen up, a random murray mint and some loose change that tends to float around the bottom of my bag.

Pink Pom Pom Keys: I used to be the kind of lady that carried 2 keys and 100 keyrings that got attached now I've gone for a streamlined one key one keyring. So what is better than having a giant pink pom pom keyring in your bag? This one was around £8 from Topshop and the size definitely makes it easy to get keys out of your bag no matter how big it is.

Portable Phone Charger: I bought this nifty product around 2 years ago from Currys (although you can buy them from anywhere nowadays) and it has been a heaven sent ever since. If anyone has an iPhone or a social media addiction like I do, you would know that the battery life is useless and so having this in my handbag ensures I don't have to worry when that annoying 20% notification pops up!

Earphones: I wished that I still had my Apple Earphones but one of the earpieces broke and now I just have these random Sony ones, they still do the trick except now I feel everyone can here my music on the train. Definitely need to repurchase Apple ones.

Inhaler: I suffer from asthma and although I am first to admit I never use it, it definitely always come in handy in case I happen to have an attack whilst I am out and about.

Tissues and Hairbands: Also handy to have not only for myself but for other people, there can always be a spillage or runny nose so always have these on hand.

iPod:  This iPod is literally ancient, I believe I got it when I was 15/16 so that makes it minimum 5 years old but I still love it and use it. To be fair most of my music is on my phone but if I run out of battery on my phone and I've forgotten my portable charger this comes in handy to keep me company on journeys back home.

Lip Balm: This Nivea lip balm with a rose tint does what it says and keeps lips hydrated with a hint of a muted pink. Lip balm always needed.

Oyster/ Travel Card: This holder is from Topshop and stores my beloved and bashed oyster card along with my 18-25 travel card that comes in super handy at discounts on trains to university. I believe this card holder was around £5-8 (similar one here).

So there you have it, all of the things I shove in my beloved bag. I do usually keep my phone there and my iPhone cable for my portable charger, lipstick as well depending on what I am wearing but apart from that this is everything. I hope you guys enjoyed and it wasn't too boring for you all.

What do you lovelies keep in your bags?

Updated What's in my bag...

Oh hey guys!

So I believe it's been at least a year since my last what's in my bag post, and I can say my handbag and the contents have definitely changed in the past year.

First off my bag is a small tote from Topshop, I love the classic design and structure and I think this bag can be so dynamic with the many outfit possibilities that it could be matched with. I have to admit this bag is no longer available on the Topshop website however there may be a chance that a few will be floating around certain stores and at £32 it could be deemed as a good investment.

In the slot closest to the back I only have my purse, this is a recent purchase from River Island as there is currently a sale on and I managed to snag this for only £12! I think you can only buy this in pink now but as it mainly consists of card slots it is perfect for me as I rely solely on my card! It also has enough space for me to slot my passport in the middle (yes I am someone who still uses it as ID!)

Another thing I love about this bag is the fact that it has a middle pouch that you can choose to take out (I never do) I keep in it everything I might need to grab quickly such as earphones and my house keys, I also keep emergency things such as bobby pins and plasters because really you just never know!

Finally is the slot closest to the zip at the front which contains all necessary junk such as the bottle of water that HAS to be with me at all times, an asthma pump for obvious reasons, lipstick, deodorant, tissues, hand sanitiser and notes and pens. All essential right?

This is the overview of the bag with the contents in, as you can see its sleek and organised. Perfect!

I hope you enjoyed snooping in my bag..
That's all for now,

What's In My Bag? (Work Edition)

Oh Hey!

Sorry for the late upload I found myself in A&E on Wednesday night after suffering a head injury at work so I've just been resting to get ready for a 10 hour shift on Sunday. Anyway lets get on with it!

I love reading other peoples blog posts or Youtube videos on what's in there bag, I guess I am kind of nosey in that respect, so now I've decided to make my own. This is what is in my bag... work edition.

So the bag I am currently using for work is my Topshop Red Winged twist bag which they have since stopped selling. I was lucky enough to receive this from my parents for Christmas and I absolutely adore it. It is just a standard inside as well with a normal pocket and a mobile phone pouch, the lining is the same as the red on the outside.

Okay so here goes, from left to right!

Black Apron: So obviously seen as this is a work edition I have to have my apron on me, I work as a waitress for anyone who doesn't know and we can't actually work unless with have an apron on. Weird I know, but for anyone who wants to flaunt there body then you can pretty much tie the apron to accentuate your shape! (WORK)

Micros Clock In Card: Again a necessity for work, we have to have this every shift to clock in and out and to put through any orders. (WORK)

Black Umbrella: Simple, an umbrella in the UK is a must!!!! (PRIMARK)

Earphones: This is definitely a must have for me, I can't leave home without them. I can't physically sit on a bus in silence which is probably why I spend so much on Itunes! (APPLE)

Black Purse: I prefer these kind of purses because they aren't bulky and in case you need to swap your bag to something more compact then they won't need to be swapped either. (H&M)

Pink Tangle Teaser Hairbrush and hair ties: Okay so I think this is the kids version but I picked this up due to the fact that my hair has to be up for work so this and the hair ties come in handy. (BOOTS)

Selection of Cards: Bank Card, Discount Card etc.

Badge: Again a must have for work as much as I hate people knowing my name! (WORK)

Baby Lips: I actually love Peach Punch the best, it gives a nice sheen of colour on your lips and smells amazing.  (BOOTS)

Victoria Secret Spray: This is by far my favourite scent ever, its called angel and I constantly get compliments on how nice it smells!!! (VICTORIA SECRET)

Sample Size of Molton Brown Hand Cream: The smell isn't my favourite but after washing your hands hundreds of times in one night sometimes you need a hand pick me up and this does exactly that!! (BIRCHBOX)

Benefit Lip Gloss: This is just a nice pick me up when I want super shiny soft lips! (BENEFIT)

A pile of coins: Who doesn't need coins?!?

This is it!
