My favourite shoes!

Oh hey guys!

I decided to be a bit more brave and dip my toes into the world of fashion, I tend to stay away from fashion posts because I feel like I am hardly one to lead the way for trends or fashion. This is hardly that to be fair, it is just an inside look into my favourite shoes ( six to be exact) my initial post was going to be one all about my heels but then I have heels that I never wear so it changed to this. I hope you guys enjoy the post it was interesting trying to balance my camera on a stack on books to get the right height!

1. Gold Glitter heels - Dorothy Perkins (unavailable)

These shoes were originally bought 3 years ago for my Sixth form prom (See Post ) and in all fairness this is the only time I have worn them due to me generally freaking myself out when I wear heels. I get self conscious with the height and balance and the way I walk but it is something I am working on, so hopefully I can venture out in them soon. I believe they were retailing at somewhere between £20-£30 at the time and I honestly think they look beautiful and can jazz up any LBD!

2. Primark Mids (unsure if still available)

I bought these beauties around about April time I believe they were £13 which is a good bargain considering many other retailers sell similar shoes for around the £20+ mark. I was introduced to these through the lovely Kayleigh from couture girl whose Instagram post made me run to Primark and snap them up. I don't find them ridiculously comfy but that may just be me not being used to any kind of heel no matter how small.
p.s: Check Kayleigh out her Instagram alone makes my bank account quiver and her fashion is just amazing!

3. New Look Cleated Soles (unavailable)

If I am completely honest these are my recent most worn shoes mainly because of the colour and slight height also the fact that my tattoo is still healing and these give it a chance to have fresh air and be seen! These retailed at £25 and are super comfy!

Here's a picture of them in use!

These were my first expensive shoe purchase, I loved these as soon as i saw them and sixth form was the perfect excuse to get them. Let's not lie they are super expensive at £90 but they are good quality, comfy (although you do have to wear them in to where it's not so rigid) and classic! I love styling them with frilly socks as you can see from the pictures, it just adds a bit of femininity with the "mannish" appearance of them.

Now my obsession with having creepers started around the same time I got my Dr Martens, it was almost a punk-ish phase, I did not have a lot of money due to the previous purchase so when I saw these on sale at Office for £35 I just had to get them. I don't tend to wear them as often as I should but when autumn comes round I shall be digging out the creepers!

Black ankle boots or any boots are a staple needed in everyones wardrobe, I actually went without any black boots for several months and it caused me a headache.  These were a steal for under £20 are super comfy and are easily teamed with many an outfit.

So there you have it, although brief those are my favourite pairs of shoes.
That's all for now.

OOTN: Gothic Nights

Oh Hey Guys!

I know, I suck at being consistant on my blog but to be fair half the time I do ridiculous hours at work and the other half of the time I'm in a sleeping coma. However today I bring you a brand new post WOOOOO!

As you can tell from the title it is another outfit of the night, my last outfit post went down an absolute storm and so I figured whatever you guys enjoyed I would provide, so here goes nothing.

So my sister gave me this dress as a hand me down about a year ago and it's been hiding in my wardrobe ever since. I thought I'd style it at the off chance that I do ever where it.

I'm not actually sure where she got it from but the intricate lace detail on the front and back of the dress make it feminine among the harsh black. It can be deemed as a very short but the longer back somehow manages to balance out the problem. I teamed this dress with a simple black and gold clutch bag from Dorothy Perkins, a steal at a tenner, and some simple black chunky heels from Primark.

Terrible photo I know but I always find it hard to take pictures of my make-up, anyway I tried to keep my face neutral with a neutral few eyeshadows from my Naked 3 Palette, a light contour and a little flicked eyeliner. The main vocal point of course is my lipstick which is the Kate Moss Lipstick in 107 making this outfit ever more gothic.

I hope you like the post guys and sorry to keep you waiting.

What's In My Bag? (Work Edition)

Oh Hey!

Sorry for the late upload I found myself in A&E on Wednesday night after suffering a head injury at work so I've just been resting to get ready for a 10 hour shift on Sunday. Anyway lets get on with it!

I love reading other peoples blog posts or Youtube videos on what's in there bag, I guess I am kind of nosey in that respect, so now I've decided to make my own. This is what is in my bag... work edition.

So the bag I am currently using for work is my Topshop Red Winged twist bag which they have since stopped selling. I was lucky enough to receive this from my parents for Christmas and I absolutely adore it. It is just a standard inside as well with a normal pocket and a mobile phone pouch, the lining is the same as the red on the outside.

Okay so here goes, from left to right!

Black Apron: So obviously seen as this is a work edition I have to have my apron on me, I work as a waitress for anyone who doesn't know and we can't actually work unless with have an apron on. Weird I know, but for anyone who wants to flaunt there body then you can pretty much tie the apron to accentuate your shape! (WORK)

Micros Clock In Card: Again a necessity for work, we have to have this every shift to clock in and out and to put through any orders. (WORK)

Black Umbrella: Simple, an umbrella in the UK is a must!!!! (PRIMARK)

Earphones: This is definitely a must have for me, I can't leave home without them. I can't physically sit on a bus in silence which is probably why I spend so much on Itunes! (APPLE)

Black Purse: I prefer these kind of purses because they aren't bulky and in case you need to swap your bag to something more compact then they won't need to be swapped either. (H&M)

Pink Tangle Teaser Hairbrush and hair ties: Okay so I think this is the kids version but I picked this up due to the fact that my hair has to be up for work so this and the hair ties come in handy. (BOOTS)

Selection of Cards: Bank Card, Discount Card etc.

Badge: Again a must have for work as much as I hate people knowing my name! (WORK)

Baby Lips: I actually love Peach Punch the best, it gives a nice sheen of colour on your lips and smells amazing.  (BOOTS)

Victoria Secret Spray: This is by far my favourite scent ever, its called angel and I constantly get compliments on how nice it smells!!! (VICTORIA SECRET)

Sample Size of Molton Brown Hand Cream: The smell isn't my favourite but after washing your hands hundreds of times in one night sometimes you need a hand pick me up and this does exactly that!! (BIRCHBOX)

Benefit Lip Gloss: This is just a nice pick me up when I want super shiny soft lips! (BENEFIT)

A pile of coins: Who doesn't need coins?!?

This is it!
What's in your bags?

Birthday Dress!

Oh Hey!

I feel like I've been MIA for a long time and for that I apologise, so to inform you all my birthday is in little over a month (7th of February to be exact) and so a killer dress to dance the night away is essential. I've been scouring the internet for weeks and finally I settled on something, not quite the dress form but instead a tailored jumpsuit from Missguided.

I thought the brightness of the blue would make me stand out as the birthday girl, teamed with gold accessories adds class and definition. I also bought a belt to eventuate my waist all that is needed now is the heels and jewelry.

I will definitely be making a post on my birthday weekend, including this completed clubbing look and my recycled dress outfit for dinner.

Mini Boohoo Haul FT. Outfit Ideas

Oh Hey!

So recently I was browsing the Boohoo website, as you do, and I came across this snazzy shift dress at a bargain £5 (apparently it has increased in price since the time I bought it). What did I do you ask? BUY IT! (and maybe a clutch to go with it... oops). Here's a few outfit ideas I put together with the dress and clutch.

So for a more dressy look I paired the dress and clutch with a pair of suede flatforms from Primark (a bargain at £12) you could also add a statement necklace if you feel particularly brave or just add red lips.

For a much more casual look I paired the dress and clutch with my pair of high top white converses (excuse the fact that they look grey, they may need washing). You could pair it with tights and a loose fitted blazer for a more slouchy appearance.

For the final look a more rock chick look I paired the dress and clutch with my heeled boots from New Look to give it a more edgy look. You could also pair it with a leather jacket and tights and backcombed hair.

Sorry about how short this post is, thought I'd quickly make it before work.

Little Haul

Recently I caught up with an old friend of mine and we went browsing around a shopping centre, which as you may have guessed by this post would have been to tempting for me. I picked up a few bits and bobs along the way, not like I'm saving for uni or anything. *note sarcasm*

Here is a quick overview, as you can see it wasn't a major blow-out but considering I didn't want to spend, it was a significant amount.

Skin care wise I decided to take advantage of the deal of Nivea face wipes, they were on offer for 3 for 2 so it was roughly £6 (some may deem that as expensive considering you can get them cheaper elsewhere, but I'd rather spend extra on my skin)
As for the Origins purchase, the spot remover is something that is overly hyped up so I thought I'd jump on the band wagon and see if its worth the hype.

I needed a new bag to carry the endless amounts of stuff to work in and I stumbled  into this classy looking bag at Primark for a  bargain £10! Its cute with the reptile like textiles to make it simple and yet a classic piece, Primark tends to surprise me sometimes with the quality and price of such items.
My most expensive purchase was a pair of Topshop leggings/treggings in plain black, they follow the same style as the American Apparel Disco Pants. They have been on my wishlist for ages but I couldn't condone spending over £70 on them so these Topshop ones were a major discount from £25 reduced to £20!

Finally I had to pick up the latest edition of Cosmo, this wasnt for the free Orly nail varnish or for the leading lady Miley Cyrus but because I promised my best friend I would buy every months copy whilst she's at Uni. So Agnieszka this shout out is for you! x

Thats all for now guys!

Coat wishlist And My New Coat!!!

Hey my lovlies, its been a very cold time in London at the moment and you can definitely feel winter approaching so a good snuggly coat is an all time must. I've been browsing both online and in stores to ensure that I can get the best coat to do three things:
1. Keep me warm - I find a lot of coats are very cute but they do not keep me warm and in the past I've almost frozen to death rather than wear a coat that makes me look like Michelin man!
2. Be asthetically pleasing - aka it has to look nice, I absolutely hate fat coats that make you look like you're wearing a sumo costume like bleutgh!
3. Not cost a fortune - A lot of coats can border on what someone would pay for a new games console its totally not needed! My budget was around £100 max!

So here's what I found:

Quilted Boucle Coat from Miss Selfridge
-So this is the warmest coat (in my opinion) but its too cute, judging by the cream colour and the added detail of the panels at the bottom and the cute fluffy hood. At £69.00 it is a bit on the expensive side for a coat that may or may not keep you entirely warm all winter (I haven't tried it on) but it is something which could be an investment for the autumn and spring seasons, and something cute to wear out to school or everyday errand running.

Hinnata Belted Faux Fur Coat from Miss Guided
- So this is a cute classic in the shape of a fur coat, expectation of a fur coat is warm and style so hence why this is in my coat wishlist. With Winter fast approaching it is extremely important to stay warm and cut the risk of freezing to death. This coat is in three different colours, white, black and Grey all staple colours allowing the style aspect of it to be intertwined with whatever outfit you see fit. It is on the pricey side again at £74.99 but it brings an edge to any outfit and its something I'm incredibly tempted to buy in the upcoming weeks.

Short Wadded Jacket from Next
-This is a simple black "puffa" style jacket in a length to your waist, this wouldn't be my first choice for a coat but it is a practical jacket that's purpose is to keep you warm. The only problem I have with this coat is the lack of a hood, a hood is important especially in the winter months to keep your head warm (as strange as that sounds) but most of your body heat gets taken from your head as its the most exposed part of your body. It is on the cheaper side of all of these coats so far at only £50 and would be something to definitely look out for.

Padded Jacket from H&M
- This is again a basic black jacket that only meets your waist but it's fleece lining ensures that the cold stays away. It has a cute removable fur edge for the hood that adds a cute characteristic and a drawstring at the waist can be used to add emphasis to your body shape. It is a reasonable price at £39.99.

Borg lined Parka Jacket from Topshop
- This is the coat which I got bought (as part of my Christmas present) and I fell in love with the fluffy hood and the borg lining which is detachable for use in warmer months. It isn't the cheapest coat at £95 but it is definitely an investment piece which can be worn throughout the months. The khaki colour adds a sense of self ease when it comes to pairing with an outfit, definitely a colour that can be used with pretty much any other colour. It also comes in petite or just the regular section at Topshop so if the coat is to long for you then perhaps try the petite version as it sits a bit shorter than the average size.

(Ignore the fluffy slippers) Here is the length of it on me 5'4 (ish).

So what coats are you guys looking at for the cold winter days?

That's all for now

OOTN: Clubbing

So recently it was a dear friend and colleagues birthday and to celebrate I ventured into the crazy world of clubbing, why is that crazy you say? well that's because this was my first time clubbing since turning 18 *inserts replies that I'm a weird 18 year old*

I couldn't fight the urge to get a new outfit and so going into Miss Selfridge I found this beautiful black playsuit which I fell in love with and had to buy. It was a killer steal at £35 and will be a statement piece in my wardrobe for years!

So I don't have any pictures of the playsuit by itself but I do have this picture I took whilst showing my friends my outfit. As you can see I teamed this playsuit with some strapped black wedges from Forever 21 a clutch bag also from Forever 21 and a gold statement necklace from New Look to match the gold zip detail on the play suit. I kept everything else simple only adding simple gold studs to my first and second piercings.

This was a rushed photo as you can see taken before we headed out, my hair was previously straightened so all there was to go was curl the ends and backcomb throughout to give me semi big hair.

So overall my make-up was minimal, I used Bare Minerals Prime Time Primer, Bourjois Healthy mix foundation in Vanilla, Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Eternal Gold, Maybelline Rocket Volume Mascara, Sleeks contour kit in light, Revlon Matte Blush in Perfectly Peach and a combination of Maybellines new Moisture renew lipstick in Diva Red and Revlon Lip Butter in Candy Apple.

Overall the night out was great and I managed to snag this picture of myself and my sister from her instagram, feel free to follow me http://instagram.com/porcelainnivory

Until next time
